The June issue of THE PAPER contained the latest version of several components of the proposed Historic District Ordinance.
Originally a portion of the 18th century Spanish land grant to Marie Louise Chouteau Papin, sister of St. Louis cofounder Auguste Chouteau, much of the Skinker-DeBaliviere-Catlin Tract-Parkview Historic District remained within extended Chouteau-Papin family until late in the nineteenth century.
Historical May 1976 clarification of the April Historic District proposal, not a statement of current regulations.
One apartment and four houses will be featured on the 1976 Skinker-DeBaliviere House Tour.
