Dick Hart would have liked the way the Skinker-DeBaliviere area was so graciously portrayed in Robert Duffy's opening article of the "Where We Live" series in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch Everyday section of Sunday, May 31, 1992.
Since mid-September the Delmar Baptist congregation has been getting acquainted with its new minister, Dr. Max Morgan, an able, energetic person who very much wants to carry on and increase the church's neighborhood ministries.
If the people of a community could choose a principal for their school, they would probably pick someone who knows the school and community well, and has gained the respect and friendship of the teachers and students.
It takes a varied background to do a varied job, and Reverend James Dismuke, whose work as Minister of Education for Delmar Baptist Church requires great flexibility, has the proper training for his job.
