Very soon the alley lights in some alleys in Rosedale Skinker will go off.
Overheard at a neighborhood gathering recently, Wrigley Wrymouth, Executive Director of the Brotherhood of Eirons and Alazons, suggested that our area would be perfect for a midwinter festival.
As someone whose home has been burglarized, I know the frustration of talking to the police only to be told both in word and attitude that I needn't expect to get anything back and that I should know better than to live in this area and so I deserve it.
Globe-Democrat circulation must be ’way down in the West End.
It probably didn’t surprise anyone in this neighborhood to read a recent article in the daily press stating that the ordinance requiring real estate companies to register the names of the straw parties they use in real estate transactions was being ignored by the real estate industry.
In the first five months of 1972, the industry recalled more cars than it sold.
I propose that we admit defeat as soon as possible.
