Playing Basketball For Operation Teamwork

December 1993

Historical December 1993 article. Dates, prices, services and contacts describe the source period; current availability has not been established.

Operation Teamwork is a program designed to give inner city youths something to participate in.

It is not designed to make a profit.

To participate, you must be between the ages of 7 and 18.

The program is designed to provide an opportunity for kids to get in touch with their neighborhood, adult role models, and to have fun. Basketball will be the upcoming activity in January.

The actual teams will be put together in December. What you will get for participating are uniforms, trophies, and fun.

The practices and tryouts are to be held within the neighborhood, most likely at Hamilton Community School.

To find out more information about Operation Teamwork, call Kim Koenig at the Skinker DeBaliviere Community Council office at 862-5122 or call the Operation Teamwork office at 361-0015 and ask for Lee O’Donnell.
