A group of Skinker-DeBaliviere neighbors enjoyed the inaugural “Taste of Delmar,” held on June 17, at 609 Restaurant/U Lounge at Eastgate and Delmar on June 17.
The concept for “Taste of Delmar” came from the success of an earlier social event held earlier this year at Mirasol Restaurant. Organizers were stunned by the large turnout of Skinker-DeBaliviere residents, and realized that there was clearly a demand for similar outings.
The next “Taste of Delmar” will take place in the next few weeks.
The next event will be held at Modai, located at 6100 Delmar, corner of Rosedale.
This beautiful new restaurant serves sushi and other oriental specials and has been open just a few months and promises to be a great selection for the next gathering “just for fun.” Tickets must be purchased in advance.
