The mission of Delmar DivINe is to maximize the efficiency, effectiveness and impact of the nonprofit sector in the St. Louis Region while simultaneously being a catalyst for the transformation of neighborhoods in North St Louis City.

It is the regions first collaborative space dedicated to maximizing the human and financial capital of St Louis’ social initiatives and institutions. Delmar DivINe has 30 businesses with 870 employees that called Delmar DevINe their work hub.

These include UMSL, Washington University, Teach for America, Mental Health America of Eastern Missouri and many more.

It is a gathering place for INnovation and INspiration hosting events throughout the year.

The large spaces throughout Delmar DevINe accommodate training seminars, meetings and more.

They are hosting > 225 events in 2024 alone. Delmar DivINe has become an important resource for the neighborhood and has continued to grow. Deli DivINe opened in 2023. Many people are unaware that Delmar DivINe has a pharmacy and an Urgent Care. AmerenUE partnered with Delmar DivINe on a 2.5 million investment providing solar panels expected to provide enough energy to power about 35 homes. Phase 2 of Delmar DevINe is starting soon and will include more living space as well as additional office and community space.

It will start in 2025 and go through 2026.

The construction of Phase 2 to Delmar DevINe should directly support increased jobs and economic activity. Current executive director Jorge Riopedre will be stepping down in November and Yusef Scoggin will be taking over this role.

He is a Medical Doctor who has served multiple roles in Community Advocacy including the Director of the Department of Human Services for the city of St. Louis and most recently the CEO of Covenant House. Anyone interested in learning more about Delmar DevINe and their activities can go to their website and sign up to receive their eNewsletter. Wisdom Cafe is a program for older adults offering several activities including a chess club, book club and educational sessions on multiple topics including healthcare, taxes, computer literacy and Aging in Place.

Please take advantage of this great resource right in our backyard.

As one of my fellow community board members said at last night’s meeting: Delmar DevINe is one of the best kept secrets in Saint Louis.
