Do you want to share a good book? Are you looking for something good to read? Our new “Little Library” is part of a national booksharing project which encourages people to share books they have read with people they may not even know. Mike Whisenhunt presented the idea of a little Library in SD at the Skinker DeBaliviere “Better Block Project” in 2014. Our little Library is constructed almost entirely with reclaimed materials. Andy Cross built the structure with a little help from Mike and Sophie Brieler, both of whom have a goal of increasing literacy in our surroundings, and they will maintain the books in the library.
