In March, the SDCC hired Mr. Kelcy Siddall to be its Community Engagement Coordinator, working with new Executive Director Liz Pund. Kelcy is a product of the St. Louis area.
He grew up here and graduated from Normandy Senior High.
While starting college, he joined the Air National Guard.
He spent 6 years in the Guard and after leaving he finished his B.A. at the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
He was an Economics major.
He then enrolled in the Masters in Public Policy Administration at UMSL and completed that degree. Asked whether he enjoyed his new job, Siddall replied that “This is a wonderful, wonderful neighborhood–very diverse and very welcoming.” He is happy to be here serving the community.
In fact he has recently leased an apartment in the new Gotham Building at Hamilton and Delmar.
