Grace United Methodist Church, 6199 Waterman, is once again offering a one-of-a-kind summer computer camp.
The camp, sponsored by the Breitmayer Community Ministry arm of Grace, in conjunction with Computer Village, will be held Monday – Thursday from 10:00am – 3:00pm the weeks of June 16, 23, 30 and July 7. What is this camp?
It is the opportunity for students grades 7 – 12 (entering in the fall) to learn all there is to know about computers.
The camp is held in the newly renovated computer lab at Grace.
This camp is for students who DO NOT already have a computer of their own because, at the end of the camp, students get to take home a computer of their own! Half the day is spent on software, including computer aided software drafting and 3-d printing.
The other half of the day is spent taking apart and rebuilding computers. Lunch and a light breakfast are included.
Please contact Sandy Marsh (314- 726-6737) for more information or call the church office (314-863-1992) for registration information.
