You may not always see Joe Edwards in a moonsuit, as he wore for the “grand opening” of the New Moon Room at the Moonrise Hotel, but you can visit the great rooftop space at these upcoming events: Garbage Bag Gala – A Benefit for the STL Salvation Army – July 26, 2013 7:00PM – 11:00PM All proceeds from the event go to the Salvation Army. Experience the annual event that always makes the news. You won’t believe the fashion show which is all clothing made from garbage bags and recycled materials couture to silly. Visit the St. Louis Salvation Army website for ticket purchases. Dog Days of Summer Event – a benefit for the Stray Rescue of STL – August 11, 2013 12:00PM – 4:00PM Join us on the Moonrise Rooftop Terrace for an afternoon with your furry friends.
All ticket proceeds will go to the Stray Rescues of St. Louis no kill shelter. $45 per person includes admittance, summer hors d’oeuvres and 2 adult beverages.
Please bring your pet. Dogs must be on leashes and cats on leashes or in a carrying crate.
