BBQ… great music… ice cold sodas… amazing neighbors – All found at events organized by the Skinker DeBaliviere Community Council. Did you ever wonder if you could meet and play with the neighbors who help organize the fun and food at various neighborhood events? Well wonder no more – see for yourself how easy it is to give back to your neighborhood and bring your skills and talents to making your neighborhood a better place to live.
If you are a seasoned volunteer, long-time neighbor or a brand new arrival in Skinker DeBaliviere, we invite you to contact the office or come by and discuss various volunteer opportunities with David Whiteman or Jessica Eiland (jessica.eiland@skinker-debaliviere.com) If you have a half an hour once in a blue moon, several hours a week to contribute ,or something in between…we likely have a volunteer opportunity to fit your skills, time and interest! Right now, the West End Arts Council is hoping to compile an updated list of names/emails for anyone interested in helping out as a volunteer for various neighborhood events. For example, the WEAC will again be sponsoring Wintermark’t again this year) and needs volunteers to help with the Food Booth at this great event.
