GO! St. Louis marathon races through Skinker-DeBaliviere The Skinker-DeBaliviere neighborhood was one of five neighborhoods chosen by GO! St. Louis Marathon to cheer along the route on race day- Sunday, April 10, 2011.
Each of the five neighborhoods chosen hosts a cheering station and “competes” for a $1,000 cash prize to go towards neighborhood improvements.
The winner is selected by the runners, who will vote after the event for the BEST cheering station (that’s us). Neighborhood resident Jennifer Olmstead organized our cheering station.For more information on the GO! St. Louis Marathon visit www. gostlouis.org.
