2006 year-end contributions to your neighborhood newspaper hit an all-time high of nearly $1,900.
The co-editors, business manager, and all our writing and photography ‘staff’ are very grateful that you continue to value our efforts.
We promise not only to continue our popular colums, but to add new features and make as sure as we can that all issues of interest are covered in our pages.
In the 80’s, there was lots of election coverage, and we published the draft of the Historic District Ordinance for all to read and react to; in the 90’s, the draft Delmar Link Redevelopment Plan was incorporated into our pages, for the maximum input from neighborhood residents and business owners alike.
In our next issue, we will continue that tradition with the draft of proposed changes to the by-laws of the Skinker-DeBaliviere Community Council.
In April, we will be starting our 37th year of continuous publication. Look for an exciting announcement in that issue about reading the TIMES on the internet.
But for this issue, we hope you’ll enjoy remembering our great neighborhood’s winter activities and thinking about spring and the opportunities for gardening coming very soon.
