Medicare D is the new prescription drug part of Medicare enacted by Congress last year.
It is optional and a large number of providers are available.
The last day to sign up for Medicare D is May 16. Because of the confusion surrounding this program, a forum will be held at St. Roch on March 7 at 7 pm. Part D will be explained and everyone will be able to ask questions.
The plans available for purchase in the St. Louis area will also be explained.
If you receive Medicare or are soon to receive Medicare, this forum will help you decide whether to participate in Part D or how to participate.
