On October 18, 2003, Lana Stein, Times Co-Editor and Chairman of the UMSL Political Science Department, received the “EagletonWaters Award for Political History, presented by the State Historical Society of Missouri.” The award was personally presented by Senator Thomas Eagleton and Hank Waters, publisher of the Columbia Tribune.
