Historical April–May 2003 article. Dates, prices, services and contacts describe the source period; current availability has not been established.
With our April issue, THE TIMES OF SKINKER-DEBALIVIERE celebrates our 33rd anniversary of continuous service to the Skinker-DeBaliviere neighborhood.
As the “oldest neighborhood newspaper in St. Louis,” we’re entitled to brag a little. So congratulations to our columnist who usually fills this spot. Tom Hoerr this month insisted on the front page (and it’s only been twenty something years). Here’s hoping that, as a result, everyone feels a bit lighter about all the upcoming changes to our transportation system and streets and sidewalks.
We invite you to let us know how the changes are affecting your family.
As your current Times “staff”, we feel honored to be keeping alive one of the great traditions of our neighborhood. Jo Ann Vatcha and Lana Stein, Co-Editors and Lois Schoemehl, Business Manager
