此内容暂无简体中文译文,以下为英文原文。

Historical March 1995 article. Dates, prices, services and contacts describe the source period; current availability has not been established.

Our neighborhood library branch, located at 356 N. Skinker, has videos and compact disks available to borrowers.

In addition, librarian Charles Lamkin can order a patron a book from anywhere in the library system.

The library has a new policy on borrowing videos: Videos are now free. Patrons can check out up to four at one time and keep them for a week. Charing Cross Branch now has a good selection of books on tape, as well as the compact disks and videos. Charing Cross focuses on new books. Library users can now access the catalog from home using a personal computer (IBM compatible or Mac) and a modem.

The software can be purchased at any branch for $1.50 or it can be downloaded at no cost. More information is available at St. Louis Public Library branches. Saturday hours at Charing Cross are now from 9:00am to 12:00 noon and from 1:00pm to 6:00pm.
