此内容暂无简体中文译文,以下为英文原文。

Mary Ann Shickman accepting Mayoral Proclamation from Lois Schoemehl on retirement. Photographer not credited.

Historical September 1992 article. Dates, prices, services and contacts describe the source period; current availability has not been established.

In May, Mary Ann Shickman retired from the St. Louis Public Library.

She had been the only librarian ever to serve at the Kingsbury Kiosk.

After her last day of work, the Kiosk was boarded up prior to eventual demolition.

The library remained in our neighborhood and relocated to 356 N. Skinker.

The new library is called Charing Cross and its hours are Tuesday through Friday from 1-6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Our neighborhood library can still be reached at 726-2653.
