Dear Skinker DeBaliviere Neighbors and Friends: Grace Pre-School, 6199 Waterman, is now well into its 29th year of serving the community and its surrounding neighborhoods. Over the years we estimate that nearly 750 children have attended our school. Since its inception, the emphasis at Grace has been on the child’s emotional and physical development, as well as cognitive skills.
We concentrate on “readiness.” School is fun…learning is fun.
There is structure, of course, in music, art, science, etc.
The emphasis is on ideas, understanding and insight. And there is love! Mrs. Dolores Hoefel has been the Director since 1985 and with her have come many wonderful and innovative additions to our school, as well as the program, itself.
During the current school year we have successfully added an extended-day program in addition to our regular morning hours.
On the staff is a bilingual teacher (Spanish/English). Gearing up for our 30th Anniversary Celebration, we invite guests to call and visit our school.
The hours of the school are Monday through Friday, 8:30-11:45, and on Tuesdays and Thursdays the closing hour is extended to 2:00 p.m.
