Engine House 30 Firemen Are Kingsbury Kiosk Readers(英文)

1987年4月

此内容暂无简体中文译文,以下为英文原文。

Edward Meyer, Lewis Hill, Don Pikesly and Dave Crawford with library books.

Historical April 1987 report or notice. Original dates, prices and contacts describe the source period; current availability has not been established.

Firemen from Engine House #30, DeBaliviere at Delmar, (from left): Edward Meyer, Lewis Hill, Don Pikesly, and Dave Crawford can be counted on to arrive in their truck at the Kingsbury Kiosk once a week and, with good humor and wisecracks, strip the shelves of cookbooks, science fiction and — for their children at home — children’s books.

These are the same men who came to extinguish the fire at the old Des Peres Library on this site several years ago.

When they aren’t putting their lives on the line fighting fires and rescuing people, they enjoy reading.
