The Skinker-DeBaliviere Community Council in conjunction with Neighborhood Marketing Service, Inc. are sponsoring the third annual December House of the Month and Christmas Walk.
This event will feature the newly renovated apartments on the corner of Pershing and Laurel as the “house” of the month and other homes within the community.
The apartments on Pershing and Laurel Avenues have been totally rehabilitated by City Equity Corporation and are now available for occupancy.
These units are a must to see. Other homes for the Christmas Walk are needed. Neighbors are being asked to open their homes and share in the holiday spirit. Homes on the walk should be decorated for the occasion: first floors only will be open to the public.
The House of the Month and Christmas Walk will be held on Sunday, Dec. 16 from 2-5 p.m.
