The Chronic Pain Treatment project at the Department of Psychology of Washington University is conducting a study on the effectiveness of treating chronic pain.

The treatment does not involve taking drugs and requires about ten weeks. Other investigators have found the treatment successful, according to Robin Puder, M.A., clinical psychologist in training at Washington University.

Persons who have chronic pain and want to volunteer to take part in the study are urged to call the Chronic Pain Treatment Project at 889-6386.
