The Northwest-Soldan Media Center, in co-operation with RIT, is inviting parents of children who are in the RIT program to attend a special “Make It and Take It” workshop at Hempstead Branch School, 1437 Laurel, for the purpose of making reading skill games which can be used at home to help improve their children’s reading skills. The workshops will be conducted in several two hour sessions so that parents may choose the most convenient time. Mrs. Dickson urges all parents to return registration forms with a time that they will sacrifice to improve their children’s reading.
