Area residents should consider taking advantage of a ceramics class being held at St. Roch’s under the sponsorship of the Adult Education Department of the St. Louis Public Schools. For the price of materials only, participants paint pre-molded items such as flower pots, hanging baskets, figurines, soap dishes, soup bowls, etc. The instructor, Tony Mendoza, then arranges to have them refired.
Those interested in joining this group may come to St. Roch’s kitchen on Wednesdays between 2:30 and 8:30 p.m. (enter through priests’ yard) or may call Rita Magyar, 721-0442, for information.
