On very short notice eight neighborhood women participated in a market research test on May 29, 1974, for the benefit of The Paper, which will receive $3.00 per participant. Each participant was asked her preferences about sample glass ware which might be used as a bonus in boxes of detergent. Then each was asked to express opinions about fragrances and color to be used in a new liquid laundry detergent to be marketed soon.
The Paper staff sincerely appreciates the effort and time that Anne Martin, Nan Thomas, Marcia Mitchell, Kathy Woodard, Rita Sweets, Cherie McKee, Chris Lange, and Marj Weir donated.
If you are interested in participating in such tests in the future, call Marj Weir, 863-7558, so that we can put you on our contact list. We have been given this opportunity twice and hope that it will become a steady thing. It is an entertaining way to make money for The Paper quickly and without expense.
