Grace Pre-School cordially invites you to a Tea and Autograph Party Sunday, November 4, at 2:30 p.m. 6177 Waterman to honor Miss Maureen McGinn whose first book “I Used To Be An Artichoke” has just been published.
The jacket reads “A bright new talent in children’s literature, Maureen O’Connor McGinn received her B.S. in Education from the University of Missouri at St. Louis. She has taught both pre-school (at Grace Pre-School for a least one semester in each of the last three years – information not on the jacket) and mentally retarded children. “I Used To Be An Artichoke” grew out of a request from her students for an alphabet book that was more exciting than “A is for Apple. B is for Bear.”
The book is delightful and would be a great gift for any young child.
Come to the party and if you choose to buy a book, the author will autograph it.
Mark your calendar now and come to congratulate Maureen and let her know how proud of her we all are.
