The Levitt Vibe STL Music Series wrapped up on September 27 at Phillip Lucier Park with performances by St. Louis soul singer Brian Owens and BIKO (formerly known as DJ Needles). The 10-concert series of three-hour performances kicked off back in May. It also included a Vendor Village for local food shops and small businesses.
Delmar Main Street, a nonprofit organization working to revitalize Delmar Boulevard through economic development, historic preservation and community events, presented the concert series. It received support from the Levitt Family Foundation, which described the series online as “supporting neighborhood businesses, strengthening local pride and highlighting how music and public space can help communities thrive.”
As the final concert drew to a close in the late sunset, guests from Skinker DeBaliviere and beyond continued dancing, browsing the vendors and enjoying the children’s playground connected to the park.
