Our great and diverse neighborhood celebrates the life and spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. each January with a Commemoration Celebration.
This year’s annual event is tentatively scheduled for January 15, 2006. Committee Chairman Liz Johnston, daughter of Jack Wright, one of the founders of this long-time tradition in the neighborhood, invites anyone interested in helping plan the event to contact the Skinker-DeBaliviere Community Council office at 862-5122.
A flyer will be distributed to announce the date and place.
