It was decided that Rosedale would make a sizeable contribution to THE TIMES. Outgoing president Tim Schoemehl was thanked, and Arline Webb as vice president led a spirited discussion on the issue of keeping the sidewalk between Washington and Delmar accessible to all after the sale of the Rosedale Square Apts.

It was left to the new president to attend the upcoming housing corporation meeting and make that request.

In addition, the membership voted to ask the housing corporation to hold a community input meeting about its actions for the future.

After the election of officers, new president Katrina Stierholz made her first action the naming of the 2005 “President’s Award” to thank Andy Cross for his efforts in the garden and throughout the neighborhood!

Following their election, the Rosedale officers organized a “Rags to Riches” food booth, which sold beaucoup bakery goods, hot dogs and brats from 8:00 a.m. through the end of the sale, which was very successful.
