Loop in Motion will enliven the neighborhoods of the Loop again this year on Saturday, October 1.

A parade at 11:00 a.m. will involve the Washington University Greek Association. Music will be heard throughout the day, including the popular Murder City Players. Produced by the University City Loop Community Foundation, a non-profit corporation, the purpose of “Loop in Motion” is to showcase a diverse assortment of emerging visual and performing arts in the Loop. New this year is a “St. Louis Idol” contest for the area’s best Karaoke singers.

Call Theresa Miller at 808-3088 for more information, or visit the Loop’s website for up to date information, www.ucityloop.com.

The Murder City Players (reggae band) will play at the Screenz Music Stage at Leland from 6 to 8 p.m. as part of Loop in Motion.
