An Art Walk kicks off the 20th Annual Loop in Motion festivities on Friday, October 6, from 6 to 9 p.m. with 20 art exhibits featuring more than 75 artists. Live music & dance will take place on the Leland Stage and on the Market in The Loop stage.
The exhibits will continue through October 7.
On Saturday, October 7 the Loop de Loop parade sets things in motion at 11 a.m. on Delmar between Leland and Wabash Station. At Noon, performances begin on five stages featuring 20 bands, 12 dance groups and 3 deejays.
The Music Stage at Leland features original and cover bands playing jazz, blues, funk, reggae, and reggae dub. Our Market in The Loop Stage is hosting the St. Louis Idol “Battle of the Karaoke Bars” from Noon to 2:30 p.m. Live music will entertain visitors to The Market in The Loop from 4 to 9 p.m. Visit our Young & Emerging Artists Stages. Our Dance Stage at Westgate will feature a dance groups performing varied dance styles. Children’s Art Activities, art exhibits, artist demonstrations, and sidewalk sales will be spread throughout The Loop.
