Dr. Steve Brammeier, owner of Kingsbury Animal Hospital, located at Skinker and Kingsbury, announces the addition of Dr. Kim Lynch to the staff. Kim is a recent University of Missouri graduate and a South city resident.
She is a native St. Louisan but left the area at an early age.
In 1987, she received a BA in theatre from the University of Maryland where she met her husband of 12 years, Bill. Kim and Bill kept themselves busy with careers in theatre and film until they moved back to St. Louis in 1992 for Bill to take a position at Webster University. Kim became a docent at the Zoo in 1993 and volunteered there while attending Webster University where she received her BS in Biology in 1998.
She graduated from the University of Missouri’s Veterinary Medicine program in 2002 and she and Bill have decided to make St. Louis their permanent home. Kim brings varied interests to the practice.
She has an interest in exotic companion animal medicine, especially reptiles, and will continue to seek out continuing educational opportunities to better serve those who enjoy the special challenges involved in caring for exotic pets.
She also has an interest in giant breed dogs, especially wolfhounds, and hopes to become a valuable reference for those owners seeking to help these gentle giants lead longer and healthier lives. Lastly, Kim will be attending an acupuncture institute during the next year in order to be able to offer this service to clients in the near future. For 24 years, the staff at Kingsbury Animal Hospital has worked to provide compassionate, quality medical care for companion animals in accordance with each individual’s needs.
They invite neighbors to call the hospital and make an appointment to meet the staff and tour the facilities. Both Kim and Steve are also available to speak to school classes, neighborhood association meetings, scout groups. etc. on a variety of veterinary/animal related topics.
