The Laura Dean Dancers and Musicians will perform at “Ovations!” on Friday and Saturday, January 18 and 19 at 8:00 p.m.
The company is dedicated to live performance of both music and dance.
The ensemble of 11 dancers and four musicians performs and teaches throughout the world. Laura Dean’s work has been described as “primal, hypnotic and visceral,” and the titles of pieces such as “Drumming,” “Gravity,” “Space” and “Night” reinforce those driving, swirling images.
