At the October meeting of the Community Council Board of Directors, a motion was approved to conduct an all-day planning workshop on a Saturday during the month of November.
The purpose for the workshop is to plan the future of the Community Council. Organizational goals, structures, and resources will be examined by the Board at this workshop. According to Skip Coburn, Community Council Executive Director, it is the Board’s hope that this workshop will provide a rigorous examination of the Council to improve its effectiveness as a neighborhood organization.
While the workshop is limited to participation by Board members, recommendations and findings evolving from this workshop will be available to all residents of the neighborhood.
