“Feed The Animals”. is a new program being implemented by the St. Louis Department of Parks, Recreation and Forestry.
Mrs. Georgia L. Buckowitz, Director of that department, announced the program enthusiastically, since she has been very concerned about the animals in the parks during the winter months when St. Louis experiences severe weather conditions.
The kick-off funds for this project have been donated by the Gateway Autocross Association with a contribution of $100.00. to purchase the initial supply of food and bird seed for the small animals and birds whose habitat is our City parks.
Persons wishing to contribute to the “Feed The Animals” program should make checks payable to the Department of Parks, Recreation and Forestry and mail to 5600 Clayton Road in Forest Park, St. Louis, Missouri 63110.
