Garden Club

May 1974

Original cartoon illustration of gardeners working with plants.

The Garden Club met at Sylvia Stahl’s home in April and Nancy Cohen taught terrarium planting. Several very nice terrariums were planted.

The next meeting will not be held until the second Sunday in June in order to avoid a conflict with the Art Fair in May. At this meeting Marj Weir will teach macrame for hanging baskets. The meeting will be 1:30 p.m. the 2nd Sunday in June at Jim Parker’s home. The Parkers and Kammerers will provide an ice cream freezer.

The garden club is now attempting to open accounts for members at wholesale plant businesses.
