WHN Flower Sale — Fundraising Report

June 1973

From The Times Archives

Many thanks to all the friends and neighbors who made the Washington Heights Flower Sale such a financial success. Due to the willingness of people to support projects in their own community, the People’s Clinic will be the recipients of $147.69 which the flower sale netted.

Let us also thank Mr. Clarence Deutschmann of Deutschmann Greenhouses at 12123 Manchester Road, for his assistance in making the flower sale a success.

Boy Scout Troop 98, who sold coffee and doughnuts, added $7.10 to their treasury also.
