Washington Heights Neighbors will have its fall meeting Thursday, Oct. 22, beginning at 7:30 p.m. in St. Roch’s gym. The cash bar will be open at 7:30, and the meeting will begin at 8 p.m. Guest speakers will talk about the community school and the day care center. Entertainment will be provided by the Checker Board Squares.
Election of officers will also be held. Candidates selected by the nominating committee are: Mrs. Joyce Warren for president; Mrs. Mary Jane Hall for vice-president; Eddie Sanders for vice-president; Saul Williams, vice-president; Mrs. Marie McReynolds, recording secretary; Leonard McLucas, treasurer and Mrs. Glori L’Ecuyer, corresponding secretary.
