The History Museum in Forest Park is seeking volunteers to staff the information desk in the main entrance of the Jefferson Memorial Building.
The Museum Shop also has several positions open.
Currently the institution’s most pressing need is for people to work on the weekends when the museum has the largest number of visitors.
The History Museum is open Tuesday through Sunday. 9:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m., and there is no admission charge.
The information desk serves visitors to the History Museum. Volunteers are provided with a manual of pertinent information and training on current special events, exhibitions and services the museum offers.
To volunteer or for more information, call the coordinator of volunteer services at 361-9265.
