Rosedale-Skinker Meeting Report(英文)

1973年11月

此内容暂无简体中文译文,以下为英文原文。

A meeting of the Rosedale Skinker Improvement Association was held September 25, 1973 in Fellowship Hall at Grace Methodist Church.

After lengthy discussion of the proposed by-law changes, the motion was made, seconded and approved to accept the bylaws as proposed and submit them for final vote at the next meeting, November 20.

Amendments to these proposals may be submitted at the November meeting before the final vote of acceptance.

If amendments are affirmed at that time, the final vote of adoption for the bylaws will take place at the following general meeting since it is necessary to have such changes voted on at two meetings.

The proposed bylaw changes appeared in the last issue of The Paper.

Suggestions for a new name for the association and entries in the decal, contest were received.

President Richard Krueger will accept further name suggestions until the next meeting on November 20th.

Members may submit name suggestions by telephone to Mr. Krueger at 726-1097.

The decal contest was voted closed.

Final choice of a decal will also take place at the November meeting.

Entries appear on this page for members to examine before the vote.

Sue Tepas announced the neighborhood’s participation in a Heritage St. Louis architectural and historical survey of the area and requested volunteers to help with this survey.

Anyone interested in helping with this project may call Sue Tepas at 862-3783, Gee Stuart at 721-0053 or Kathy Harleman at 725-8929.

In other business, Bob Bracey announced a membership drive with details to be presented at the forthcoming meeting.

Due to negative response from the membership, further discussion of possible change in traffic patterns was tabled.
