October has seen many public gatherings (and apparently not much private news which we can print): The Dedication of the Four Corners, nicely attended and well done by George Brown and Vince Schoemehl as our public speakers and Council Smith as presenter of a lovely trophy to Jean Roberts for her service as our community librarian; the New Neighbors Gathering in Rosedale, where many of us got a chance to meet a good many new neighbors; Halloween, no doubt as successful as ever, and as noisy and fun.
As many of our neighbors have already learned, Des Peres Branch has a new head librarian.
The first meeting to plan the 1978 Art Fair will be held on Friday, Nov. 18 at Karleen and Tom Hoerr’s house, 6151 Washington, at 7:30.
