A chain link fence is being built along the Norfolk and Western Railroad right-of-way from DeBaliviere to Delmar, in response to frequent complaints by concerned local citizens.
Mr. Murrell Jones has been elected new block leader of the 5800 block of DeGiverville.
A clean-up of the Norfolk and Western Railroad right-of-way, which cuts diagonally through much of the Skinker-DeBaliviere area, is scheduled for April 12 or 19.
The city says the railroad should do it; the railroad says the city should do it; and the residents say only the railroad or the city is equipped to take care of it.
