Washington Heights Neighbors News

April 1975

From The Times Archives

Hey neighbor, come see our home movies! Homes in our area on film and in photographs taken for the Heritage St. Louis project will be on display. (Is your alley ready?) Hear about the proposal for our neighborhood to become an Historic District at the general meeting.

It will be Thursday, April 10, 1975, at 7:30 p.m. at the Des Peres Branch Library. Elections for representatives and alternates for the SDCC will also be held. Nominees are as follows: Area I Representative, Jack Wright; Area II Representative, Mrs. Charlene McCray; Alternate, Mrs. Vivienne N. Garr; Area III Representative, Mr. C. L. Smith; Alternate, Mrs. Daisy Wilhite. Nominations for each of these 2 year terms will be accepted from the floor that evening provided the nominee is present. There will be refreshments and over-the-fence type chatting, so come join us.
