Fall Campfires! (And marshmallows)

Fall is around the corner and it’s the perfect time of the year to take your kids camping. But if it’s a rainy day, you can make your own campfire craft, and enjoy some marshmallows as a treat!

Steps 1 and 2

Gather some firewood strips and some fiery red and orange paint. Kids can blow on their fire to make flames with an eyedropper or use a brush to design their fire.

Steps 3 and 4

Cut out and glue the firewood logs under your fire. Older kids can use colored pencils or the fingerpaint to embellish their design.

Step 5

“Toast” your marshmallows on the campfire and enjoy a well-earned fall treat.

Step 6

Share your art with everyone!

Thanks, Fei Powell and the Lion’s Pride Academy kiddos!
