The only thing better than fireworks is making them with your kids! All you need are cardboard, red, white and blue chalk, scissors and pencils or any fun writing instrument.
Steps 1 and 2
Cut out circle or star shapes for the shape of each firework. Older kids can cut their own shapes to form the center of their fireworks explosion.
Step 3
Draw an alternating series of red, white and blue chalk lines around each shape, then smudge the chalk outwards.
Step 4
Kids can draw their own message around their fireworks or simply decorate their page.

Celebrate the Fourth of July!
