Coming Soon — Little Art Gallery Of Skinker DeBaliviere

By Tracy Granneman

Historical Summer 2021 article. Dates, prices, services and contacts describe the source period; current availability has not been established.

Calling all artists of all ages and of all abilities!

The Little Art Gallery of Skinker DeBaliviere will launch this summer. Share your talents with the neighborhood or add to your art collection! What is a Little Art Gallery? Building on the concept of Little Libraries where we share and take books, the Little Art Gallery provides a location for artists to display/share their works. Patrons may admire pieces as they walk by or even take home a favorite piece.

The Gallery will be located at the Four Corners. What can be displayed? Since this is a “little” art gallery, pieces will need to be small (less than 7-10 inches tall or wide), but can be of any medium – paintings, drawings, sculptures, jewelry, etc.

The caretaker of the Gallery will post pictures of artwork on Facebook (and possibly other social media sites), so that followers can enjoy the talents of neighbors. Artists may leave anonymous pieces or leave their names for publication.
