The Council is very happy to welcome new Executive Director, Brandon Sterling.

With his first day on January 4, Brandon dove right into the job with the first council meeting of 2016 on January 11. At the meeting, the board celebrated the successful Wintermarkt, passed the 2016 budget and announced the members of the new Neighborhood Funding Steering Committee. You will be hearing more about this soon as the Neighborhood Funding Steering Committee will plan informational meetings and open forums to solicit community feedback on ways to fund neighborhood improvements in the future.

The Council also continued discussion of ideas to recognize and celebrate SDCC’s golden anniversary this year.

We look forward to honoring the founding members of the Community Council, looking back at important moments in the past 50 years and celebrating the many amazing people who live, work and play here today.

If you would like to be a part of planning for the 50th anniversary commemorations throughout the year, please contact Brandon Sterling at brandon.sterling@skinker-debaliviere.com or Mary Pat O’Gorman at holtgreivemp@ hotmail.com.
