Helping Students Away From Home Feel At Home

Historical September–October 2011 article. Dates, prices, services and contacts describe the source period; current availability has not been established.

Washington University is looking for warm-hearted families to host 2-3 students for casual dinner and conversation. Help them feel at home in St. Louis and your family can enjoy the company of Wash U’s incredibly smart and talented kids.

We only require that you have 2-3 get-togethers over the course of the academic year.

We also try to match students to family interests.

We will ask you to host your first dinner this late September or early October – we will provide you with an option of three different dates just to get started. You and your students plan all subsequent dinners.

There will be a reception at the Chancellor’s residence for all program participants in the Spring. E-mail Risa Zwerling at zwerling @wustl.edu to sign up!
