Remember to mark your calendar for the 9th annual Breakfast Garden Tour on Saturday, June 2, from 8:30 to Noon. You don’t have to have any knowledge of plants to enjoy this event.
It is a fundraiser for the Skinker-DeBaliviere Community Council and a great way to meet your neighbors. Only $10 buys you a delicious breakfast in the lush McPherson Community Garden, followed by a leisurely tour featuring a variety of approaches to many kinds of back yards.
This tour offers something for everyone, with a few surprises along the way. Watch for the flyer in May. Tickets are only $10 in advance, $12 day of tour, children 10-15 years $5, and children under 10 FREE. For more information, call the SDCC office at 862-5122.
