Historical Fall 2006 article. Dates, prices, services and contacts describe the source period; current availability has not been established.

On June 13, 2006, Greg Freeman Park at Four Corners filled up with neighbors and over 70 cool dogs of all sizes and shapes. Venita and Rick Lake were there with their shelties. Mary Brown and Kel Ward had a very small and a large dog respectively. Faith Sandler’s dog seemed enormous, but Julie Schoemehl’s may have been even larger.

Some of the prizes this year were for the “waggiest tail,” “bushiest eyebrows,” “shortest legs,” “highest jump” and (of course) “shaggiest dog.” Kudos to Emily and Sarah Cross (shown here with Lana’s dog Max) for staging this most fun event!
